Ethyn Regret returned from a night out with his friends Thornton Wolff and Christopher Steel. It was a night that consisted of a movie and drinks at the Bistro so he returned home in high spirits.

Oh, Ransom Clavell. *fans self* This is the first time that I think I've actually gotten a little crush on one of the pre-made Sims characters. Granted, once I managed to make him part of Katriss' family, I had to tweak his facial features a wee bit with "editsim" (i.e. made his nose smaller, slimmed his head, shrunk his eyes down from anime-proportions, etc.). He was like a diamond in the rough; I just polished him up a bit. 😉 I even went the extra step of saving a copy of him in the Sim Bin so that I can make another character if anything ever happens to this version. Yay!
Anyway, now I want to play show-and-tell with the newly remodeled Ransom. So, please humor me as I gush on about this guy.

Ethyn stopped by the public pool after work one day hoping to waste some time before a big interview that he had at City Hall later in the evening. He thought it quite strange that only men were there. Not a woman to be seen anywhere. Hmm… The guys were nice though and he had fun. It had been so long since he spent a carefree afternoon not moping about Katriss and their ruined relationship.
(I thought it strange and funny too. Seriously, there was not one female on the lot while he was there. By the way, he's one of the guys who was holding his breath underwater. He was challenged to a contest, which he lost. But then, he has not athletic skills at all so that makes sense.)

Ethyn: "WTF? My girlfriend cheats on me with Ghost Boy and now I'm supposed to take care of their spawn? I'm a famous news reporter. This isn't supposed to be my life."
And, thus begins events that will push Ethyn closer and closer to a mid-life crisis. Poor Ethyn!
