Sims 3 Tales: Wishes, Part 01

So, Inara's birthday had finally arrived. But, Ethyn had other things on his mind. Marty had just called and wanted to know if they could meet and talk. Ethyn's stomach dropped. Having a "talk" usually meant a bad thing, at least in his experience. However, he agreed.
When Marty picked him up, Ethyn suggested they should probably be more circumspect this time. It wouldn't do to start any rumors.
They ended up at the Windfall Motel located in the seedier side of town. And, while they spent most of the day together, they never did get around to talking.
Katriss: "Your hair looks kind of messy, Regret. It's like you spent your whole day rolling around in bed?"
Ethyn: "Leave me alone. You're not spoiling my mood tonight, witch-lady."
Katriss: *chuckles to herself*
That night, when Ransom got off work, he decided that he wanted to look up his family—his previous family. While at work, he had looked through the cememtary records and discovered that he was already too late to meet his son Buster who had passed away before Katriss had brought Ransom back. Maybe he would meet his son's ghost someday though. Ransom was the first to admit that death wasn't always the end. Until then, he wanted to make contact with the rest of the Clavells that were still living.
Bessie, his late son's wife, was the first Clavell he became acquainted with. She seemed a sweet, if humorless old lady. She didn't laugh at any of his jokes that were meant to break the ice.
However, she did seem rather excited to hear that Ransom was getting remarried. He hoped she lived long enough to be able to attend his wedding.
Meanwhile, Katriss received a phone call from the local market asking if she would deliver some of her vegetables over to Morgana Wolff. The market was out of produce of any kind. Apparently their delivery was hijacked (hey, she had told Ransom that The Organization would lay low, not that it wouldn't take on piddly, little jobs). She knew her garden grew perfect vegetables, but she wasn't in the habit of selling them. Seeing as the lack of veggies at the store was sort of her fault though, she agreed.
So, she delivered the vegetables to Morgana, and stayed to talk for awhile. It was always good to get to know people and feel them out. She'd made many useful contacts that way.

Wow first post again!
Hm… /:I
Seriously this made my day Kara. Just… awesome. And it's great to see Ethyn finally getting some affection of his own, poor guy finally has something to smile about now, :D. I can't wait for the next one! Eeee :o!
By the way, the interactions in TS3 are phenomenal (did I spell that right :x… phenaw…pheniiiimenjdfk). Seriously when I saw Katriss reading to Inara, I was in shock at how realistic that looked!
Just that I'd add that in… ๐ณ

Yes, I agree with you Stephanie. The interactions are so realistic. There are only a handful of things that I dislike about The Sims 3. (One of the major things being that I can't switch from family to family as I please without losing Lifetime Rewards/Points/Whatever/etc.)

"Your time has come, little one. Prepare yourself for your last dayรขโฌยฆof toddlerhood! Mwahahaha!"
If my mother said that, I'd probably run screaming xD

Heeheehee, I am going to avoid installing anything custom until I can use my (that's right, I FINALLY got one) new computer. I got a really amazing desktop instead of a laptop, and I am so glad I did. 23" LCD flat screen display, 1 TB hard drive, 8 GB memory, 1 GB Nvidia GeForce 9400 video/graphics card, and a few other nifty things. ๐
I have a feeling my game will run like a dream as soon as I get my compy up and running.

HA! I love Katriss lounging on the bed in her swimwear and sunglasses. She is wonderful–I love evil sims!
Some of the TS3 interactions are nice, but most are just bad copy/pasta from TS2. You can tell they did very little to try and fix the animations to route with the more complex TS3 models, especially when eyes roll back into their head for half the duration or their hands are like several inches away from where they should be. ๐ I know most of the new interactions are the same thing pasted over and over, but I do like the ability to "Thank for cooking" and "announce" things. Makes for good pictures. ๐
I can see you're having the photobucket issue. They are compressing images now, which is bogus. Even Pro accounts are getting hit. I've taken to hosting my photos at wordpress.com. They give you 3gigs or so of space for signing up for a blog. /grumblegrumble lousy photobucket…
