Just Fiddlin' Around

November 13th, 2006

Edited 11.14.06:
Aikea Guinea has kindly allowed me to include her old Triple Choker mesh in my necklace downloads until I have time to refit them to her new mesh. Thanks, Aikea. I really appreciate it. So, it's once again possible to download (and use) my necklaces.

I'm not sure if you've noticed but I've been tinkering around the site a bit for the last couple of weeks changing things here and there. In anticipation of the new chapter that I'm working on (yay! My muse has returned and I'm finally writing again!), the previously published chapters have been renamed Prologue 01 and Prologue 02, which means that I'm currently writing Chapter 01. Confused? Yeah, me too. To make finding all the Worlds Apart chapters easier, I've added a "Chapters" section to the above navigation menu. You'll be able to find the chapter outtakes in that section as well.

I also have added a new "Fan Art" section. Right now it's mostly displaying art by the talented Kiwi. I'm greatly honored that she has taken the time to draw my characters and send them to me. It's a lot of fun to see other people's interpretation of my guys and gals.

Let's see, what else…

Lord Carfax

October 31st, 2006

Edited 11.02.06:
Lord Carfax is named after a character in the Jem animated show from the '80s, and not after car history report site. D'oh! I totally forgot about that site. I feel like such a dork now. Poor guy!

Lord William Carfax by AtomicSpaceKitty

Lord William Carfax is the Earl of Carfax during the mid 18th century. He is also the model of my new Rococo outfit and the first sim that I will be offering for download. I've had a lot of people ask if I would upload my models but, since the models I've used in the past were created for my stories, I declined. However, William has been made especially for you. I think he has some similarities to my other sims so hopefully you'll enjoy him.

You may download him from MTS2 or InSIMenator.

Rococo Suit with Tricorne and Wig

[Background Music: Piano Concerto in D Minor, K. 466, 2nd Movement by Mozart]

Do you remember the outfit that I mentioned I was working on a couple of posts ago? Well, I finally finished it! Actually the suit has been done for over a week now, but it took me awhile to put together the photoshoot. I had as much fun doing the shoot as I did making the outfit…perhaps more.

You may download it from MTS2 or from InSIMenator.

Just Lips

Just Lips: Bare Lips for Men (and Women)

I have a number of downloads that I'm preparing for you all and to kick it off I present this collection of lipcolors that I made for my male sims. Sometimes the lips on skins are a bit too shiny, tinted or feminine looking for my male characters so I created seven lip shades that will compliment many skintones to give males a bare, natural lip. Of course, your female sims may wear these too if they prefer to go sans makeup.

You may download it from MTS2.

The Fickleness of Creativity

October 13th, 2006

Oh my…time surely flies. Can you believe it's been over a month since I last posted? I haven't posted until now because not much has been going on, other than the fact that I've been struggling with writer's block and an overall lack of creativity. Thankfully, over the past couple weeks, my creative drive has resurfaced and I've had fun populating Body Shop with various fantasy Sims. I've also been working on a surprise for your male sims (because our poor male sims need all the clothing they can get!):
