Nvr Say Nvr

I just can't seem to play the Sims without taking pictures; even when I'm just running a test house. So, there's no real coherence or story behind these. It was just fun to see what my characters would do when I wasn't consciously directing most of their actions.
This was taken before I redecorated the test house (the Teacup Chihuahua house in Riverview). I've been taking the "screen test" pictures in its garage.
Anyway, Edmond was typing away on his first novel Nutty as a Fruitcake, which actually became a bestseller, while Emily struggled to fix the plumbing after she got home from work. Edmond had ignored the busted sink all day and the entire floor was covered in water. I think Emily mopped up the puddles too. 😮
Afterward, I redecorated their living/dining/kitchen area. Even though it's just a test house I couldn't resist changing it. I still have the bedroom and the bathroom left to do though.
I think Emily was watching a children's program (she has the childish trait), while Ransom read some book for his job (he's a cop), and Edmond was fixing dinner (he's a natural cook). I wanted Edmond to make his favorite food, french toast (since he's French…haha), but he didn't know how to make them yet.
Oh, and this is actually Emily Version 2.0 and not the Emily that's in the screen test shots.
Waiting for food to cook annoys Edmond.
Still waiting for dinner to be ready, Ransom continues to read so that he can get a promotion at work. He's the most responsible person here, I think. Of course, he's a major workaholic, so he loves anything that has to do with work.
haha! Ransom's expression cracks me up. I think I must look like that when I try to do math in my head.
Edmond was freaked out about something. I think the waffles were talking to him: "Noooo, don't let him eat us! Save us, Edmond, save us!" Creepy waffles.
While Ransom slaughtered the waffles, Edmond talked on the phone forever.
You know, for being a loner, Edmond sure talks on the phone a lot. Granted, he only talks to two people, Julian and Viktor, but still…
It was Viktor on the phone this time (before I found a suitable hairstyle for Mr. Quinn, he was relagated to being bald).
Epic conversation!
Emily was working out, in case you were wondering.
One night, after Emily's work out at the gym (she had to get her athletic skills up since she was in the military), I had Edmond and Emily (version 3.0 now) meet up at the Bistro for their first dinner date. Emily got there first and when Edmond walked onto the lot he actually waved and said "Hi" (or whatever the equivalent is in Simlish) to her. It was so cute!
Unfortunately, I was slow with the camera and only caught the moment after that happened. Oh, well. At least you can tell by his smile that he's happy to see her.
So, they go out to a nice restaurant and order mac 'n cheese and a hamburger… Nice!

I know this isn't anything more than just really great pictures, but in a way, it was like a little story. 🙂 Plus, you make some fantastic looking sims! Edmund has pretty intense eyes, and Emily is beautiful.

Yeah. Man, I wish I could do that 😥 …. I'm no good at making male sims. I couldn't do it to save my life 🙁 . Hopefully, I get a graphics card soon so I can enjoy this game too 🙂 … Thanks Kara! Now I can carry on with my day in hot guy bliss :halo: !

All right…things happening while I was elsewhere would really make me mad. Like married and pregnant without my say-so. I mean WTF??? 😕
On the other hand I loved that look Edmond gave her at the restaurant! Such an Aww moment! 😛

awww…yeah Edmond is gorgeous! And he does seem to keep watching Emily, which is so sweet!
That would drive me insane – marriages and children just happening totally out of my control. That's too much like RL!
Question – it's still not possible to take shots inside a community lot, like the restaurant? Everybody eats outside; disappears into the 'office' (where obviously some real action is going on) and you can't follow them?
