Held for Ransom: Sims 3 Download

Here is my version of Ransom Clavell that I've been promising to make available for download (see link on page 2). I've refined him a bit more since I first introduced him to you. If you're curious, this is what he looks like the way EA/Maxis originally made him: [1], [2] (when in his sleepwear, his hair turned blond…way to go, EA).

Yeah, something had to be done—a guy with a badass mohawk needs to look cooler.

A little background: In the game, Ransom is at first only available as an NPC ghost at the Pleasant Rest Graveyard in Sunset Valley. Before his death, he was married to Jennie Clavell (who is buried next to him) and he had a son named Buster, who is an elder in Sunset Valley at the beginning of the game. As is evidenced by the water drops that drip from Ransom's ghostly form, he died in a drowning accident.

He's a Hopeless Romantic, Flirty, Absent-Minded, Workaholic Loner who dreams of becoming a DNA Profiler (of course, these can be changed depending on your wants for him).

    Oooh, he is so hot. Gah! Pixels aren't meant to make me think like this – now I feel like a pixel-pervert! 😈 Not good for me at all…

    I don't know if it is his personality shining through, your photo skills or your uncanny way to create/improve a sim but he is drool-worthy…and he is available for download??? Kara you are killing me, KILLING ME!

    Ooh I wonder if his late wife roams the cemetary??? 😮

    Ok, you've managed to do it! You made me look at a sims from sims 3 and think "Wow, this guy actually looks good!" After all the sims 3 pics I've seen, I was starting to thing it wasn't possible 😛 Eyes and happy trail helps a lot I must say 🙂

    Jeez… I've never wished a sim really existed so much before, just so I could look at them :roll: . I need counseling. Seriously though, great job, Kara. 😉

    Gayl: Thank you! I'm just going to keep on tempting you. 👿 (supposed to be devil) And, yes, I've seen his wife a few times while at the cemetery. 🙂

    Dektora: *waves* Great to see you! 😀 It takes work and you definitely need a slider hack, but it's possible to make good looking Sims 3 sims. Of course, the CC coming out everyday helps a lot!

    After doing this photo shoot, I've decided that I need to have my ghost Ransom become a human because I don't want him to hide his looks behind his ghostly glow anymore.

    Dude, I totally just got World of Warcraft (finally) after about four years of wanting it. I didn't want to get it before because I was afraid my computer would melt, but I finally got it and I am really excited. I haven't created an account yet though. I don't know which server or side to be on. Bleehhh…

    Ju: Awesome! I love WoW so much and have been playing it since it first released. I hope you enjoy it too.

    I don't want to tell you what side to be on or what class to be because there really is no "best". I have a number of characters and switch between them a lot. The only thing I'd suggest is to pick one of the races that you like the best and then choose a class from the ones available to them.

    As for server, I like to pick one that's in my same timezone. It can make it easier if you ever want to group up with people or do raids. Also, you can pick a server based on if you want to PvP, PvE or roleplay (RP-PvE). I tend to stick to the PVE servers. I tried PvP once but it was so aggravating to be continually killed by players higher level than me.
