Held for Ransom: Sims 3 Download

These are the outfits he comes with (links are below so you can download the custom content you need if you want to use the outfits):

To Install: Unzip into your "SavedSims" folder. This is found under My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 (if you don't have a SavedSims folder, you can just make one). Please note that Ransom will be found under the Adult tab in CAS (not the default Young Adult tab).

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Ransom may look different in your game depending on what default skins and eyes you use. If you want Ransom to look the same as he does in the above pictures, you will need (if you need help installing the packages below, go here):

Face Defaults: Aikea_Guinea Default Replacement Skintones (under "Default Replacements"; in my game, I use all her faces, plus the anatomical female body)
Body Defaults: Tummy Za's Hairy Skin Replacement (first download—body only, I use Aikea's faces)
Eye Defaults: Miniie's Bright Eyes Colorblend Replacements
Facial Hair Defaults: Stubble Replacements by RoboKitty

Slider Hack: If you want to tweak his face without having the sliders reset to default, you will need a slider hack. You can use Awesomemod, Indie Stone or Rick/Delphy's.

 

MORE CUSTOM CONTENT

If you want Ransom to be wearing the same clothes and tattoo as I've shown above, here is what you must download:

Tattoo and Patterns:
1. Tattoo—Virgin Of Guadalupe by RoboKitty
2. Plaid Patterns by M.Calero (for the red Tartan used on the Formal suspender pants and blue/purple plaid used on the swim trunks)
3. Wool Pattern by Aikea_Guinea (used on the Formal outfit's sweater and Athletic outfit's tank top)
4. Linen Pattern by Aikea_Guinea (used on the Formal outfit's shirt)

Everyday Outfit:
1. Rock-A-Billy Male Tee's (Untucked Version) by RandomNoir
2. Distressed Jeans for Males by Aikea_Guinea (under "Clothing")
3. Slimmed T-Shirt Mesh Replacement for Males by Aikea_Guinea (under "Default Replacements")

Formal Outfit:
1. Relaxed Sweater from Sims 3 Store (or MATY, included in the Updated bundle in the first post)
2. Slimmed Suspender Pants Mesh Replacement by Aikea_Guinea

Athletic Outfit:
1. Knee socks for Teen through Elder Males by Aikea_Guinea (under "Accessories")

    Oooh, he is so hot. Gah! Pixels aren't meant to make me think like this – now I feel like a pixel-pervert! 😈 Not good for me at all…

    I don't know if it is his personality shining through, your photo skills or your uncanny way to create/improve a sim but he is drool-worthy…and he is available for download??? Kara you are killing me, KILLING ME!

    Ooh I wonder if his late wife roams the cemetary??? 😮

    Ok, you've managed to do it! You made me look at a sims from sims 3 and think "Wow, this guy actually looks good!" After all the sims 3 pics I've seen, I was starting to thing it wasn't possible 😛 Eyes and happy trail helps a lot I must say 🙂

    Jeez… I've never wished a sim really existed so much before, just so I could look at them :roll: . I need counseling. Seriously though, great job, Kara. 😉

    Gayl: Thank you! I'm just going to keep on tempting you. 👿 (supposed to be devil) And, yes, I've seen his wife a few times while at the cemetery. 🙂

    Dektora: *waves* Great to see you! 😀 It takes work and you definitely need a slider hack, but it's possible to make good looking Sims 3 sims. Of course, the CC coming out everyday helps a lot!

    After doing this photo shoot, I've decided that I need to have my ghost Ransom become a human because I don't want him to hide his looks behind his ghostly glow anymore.

    Dude, I totally just got World of Warcraft (finally) after about four years of wanting it. I didn't want to get it before because I was afraid my computer would melt, but I finally got it and I am really excited. I haven't created an account yet though. I don't know which server or side to be on. Bleehhh…

    Ju: Awesome! I love WoW so much and have been playing it since it first released. I hope you enjoy it too.

    I don't want to tell you what side to be on or what class to be because there really is no "best". I have a number of characters and switch between them a lot. The only thing I'd suggest is to pick one of the races that you like the best and then choose a class from the ones available to them.

    As for server, I like to pick one that's in my same timezone. It can make it easier if you ever want to group up with people or do raids. Also, you can pick a server based on if you want to PvP, PvE or roleplay (RP-PvE). I tend to stick to the PVE servers. I tried PvP once but it was so aggravating to be continually killed by players higher level than me.
