Meet the Strudels
October 7th, 2004
Andi Strudel, a teacher in the public school system of Sim City, was offered a job as a scientist in Pleasantview. She talked it over with her husband Art and they decided that it would not only be a smart move for her career but it would give him an excuse to quit his high-stress job as business manager at the mental health center. It will take a lot of studying on her part to get her up to speed on the research at the lab, but Andi's looking forward to the challenge. She'll be starting her new job as soon as Kim is of school-age.
Art is taking the opportunity presented by the move to get a job in the culinary field (it was either that or be a bus driver, which he also thought would be fun). He knows he'll have to start at the bottom, but someday he hopes to make lobster thermidor as a professional chef. During the school year, Art has always been the cook around the house anyway so this will give him a chance to flex his creative culinary muscle for money.
Not only does Kara hate her short hair but she hates moving—she gets that queasy, fluttering feeling in her stomach when she thinks about having to meet new people. But, after seeing their new house (there's a swimming pool!) and picking the furnishings for her room, she got more excited. Her parents also said they would have the movers place her toy stove in the kitchen so she could cook with her dad. She also can't wait for her little sis Kim to grow up. Right now, Kim is sort of boring…and she bites.
Kim is just excited. She knows something is going on. Her parents and her sister are putting things in boxes and talking to her in high voices a lot. She likes to sit in the middle of the floor and watch all the commotion. Dad almost tripped over her a couple of times though. Whatever is making her family so excited she can't wait for it to happen.

I absolutely love it!!:mrgreen:I can't quit smiling…I'll have to show Mom and Aunt Cher this Saturday when they are over!! So much fun!:lol:It's perfect!!

I can't wait! EEEEEEEE!!:shock:Just like the excited Care Bear's funny breathing OFOFOFOF!!:lol: Anyway…I'm off to Glenwood. I have a note to get online with Mom and Aunt Cher when we go to my house Saturday! Love you.
