Meet the Hillock Family
October 5th, 2004
Dave hated his job in Sim City. After talking it over with Joyce, Dave decided to quit his job and follow a dream that he's held since he was in high school. Now that he's moved his family to the peaceful town of Pleasantville, Dave will do whatever it takes to realize his dream of becoming a professional athlete with the Llama All-Stars. He also looks forward to meeting his new neighbors and to becoming involved in the community.
Joyce has put her military career on hold until little Corrie is old enough to go to school. Transfer papers have already been issued so when she's ready to go back to work she will be stationed at the military base just outside of Pleasantview. Until then, she can't wait until Corrie grows into a child—she is already planning a big birthday party.
Josh was sad to leave Sim City. Especially since it meant he had to leave behind Tina, and Marylou, and Gwen, and Stacey, and Mai, and… But his dad said that the best part about moving was meeting new people. Once Josh started thinking about all the new girls he could meet, he didn't think moving was such a bad idea after all. Maybe they should move every couple of years!
John, or Dread Pirate Joe as he likes to be called, was also not too thrilled about the move. He had a rather large collection of treasure buried in his backyard in Sim City. He spent many days studying his scribbled maps and digging up the yard trying to find all his loot. Sadly, although he found most of it he never found the jar containing his button collection. But he did find an old rusted candy tin that contained a few simoleans and a spool of thread. He didn't remeber burying that. Perhaps pirates buried it long ago and forgot to come back for it. Who needs silly buttons when you find that kind of treasure!
Corrie really didn't care one way or another about the move. Although, why did her parents put all her toys in a box? She tried to free them but her mom got a little annoyed at that. Oh, well. Hiding in boxes and playing with tape was just as much fun as her other toys.

Hi, Sis! Yep that is John in the upper right corner…at least that's what he'll look like when he's all grown up. He really looks a lot like the RL (real life) version of John, doesn't he? It's actually a little creepy how much the Sims can look like their RL counterparts.
Little Kim in her pigtails and tutu will be appearing in the future. When she's first introduced she is going to be a little toddler dressed in a pinafore decorated with kittens!
By the way, did you notice Kim all grown up (in the main pic). That's you, my sis! hehe
It was so hard getting the Kara Sim to look like me. I still don't think she looks like me. I don't know why the John, Andi, Art, and Kim Sims look like they are supposed to but the Kara Sim really doesn't. Oh, well. 😉
