Technical Difficulties

I had hoped to have chapter 5 released before Thanksgiving. My new plan is to get it released by the end of the month, which may not work out either since my computer is slowly breaking down.
My computer still mostly works but the frustrating thing is it crashes/reboots at odd times (with seemingly no rhyme or reason). Now, it's not so bad when I'm just in World of Warcraft as it takes all of minute to get back in the game (after the computer reboots), but…well, you know annoying crashes can be in the Sims as it takes for freaking ever for the game to load. I'm also worried that the crashes may corrupt my lots. My husband has been trying to fix it, but so far none of his solutions have worked. So, we are now waiting for new parts to arrive so that he can build me a new computer.
Me thinking out loud (I'm not looking for advice): I haven't decided if I'm going to try taking pictures for chapter 5 anyway and just work around the reboots (hoping that my lots won't be corrupted), or if I should just wait until the new computer is built. I also haven't decided if I'm going to divide this chapter into parts (i.e. part 1 and part 2) as it's rather long. Another option is to just finish writing chapter 6 (of which half is already written). Ah, decisions, decisions…
Anyway, I do know for sure that I won't have anything ready by Thanksgiving. But, I do want to wish everyone (that celebrates it) a Happy Thanksgiving!

For those of you that have wondered what cheats/hacks I use to take my pictures, I've updated my FAQ question "How did you get your characters to make that facial expression/do that action/etc.?". All my current cheats/hacks are listed. So, hopefully that will will be helpful.
I've had the new expansion pack Bon Voyage sitting on my desk for awhile now. After hearing about all the SecuROM stuff, I'm terrified to install it. I'm very tempted to try though despite my fears as I've seen some pictures of the new animations and I know they would be so helpful in future chapters of Worlds Apart. Of course, not all my current mods have been updated for Bon Voyage yet. And then there is still the fear of SecuROM screwing up my computer. Bah…I don't know what to do.
For those of you that have installed Bon Voyage, what has been your experience? Have you encountered any bugs? Do any of you have GunMod's Radiance Lighting installed as well? Does it still work? I don't know if I'd be willing to give that mod up—I love the lighting that it allows.
I'm also going to updating WordPress sometime today, so the site may be offline for awhile.

I'm back from vacation. Spent this week trying to get caught up on things. Gah…it's so hard getting back into the swing of things after a vaca.
I actually took some pictures of my BJDs (dolls) while we were out on the Olympic Peninsula. So far, I have pictures of Dominik posted. He makes quite a sexy pirate. Next week, I'll be posting some pictures of Ethyn.
As for Worlds Apart, I hope to get started on that again soon. I'm about half-way through writing the chapter. I had hoped to be further, but I was so busy last month getting ready for my parents' visit, etc.
Oh, and I'll soon have some interesting news involving Tahlvin and Brandee. I'm so excited! Hint: It has to do with BJDs.
Anyway, I really just wanted to pop in and let you all know what was up. I'm trying to keep you all more in the loop so that you don't think I've fallen off the face of the earth or anything. Take care and have a great weekend!

Well, those of you who are interest in my ball joint dolls (BJDs) can rejoice! I've opened a new website dedicated to my dolls. So if you're interest in seeing more (and by more I mean many) photos of my guys, then head on over to Half-Imagined. There are already about nine posts there for you to get caught up on (you can start here if you want to work your way through in order). But, don't worry, it's mostly pictures and not a lot of text. Also, and this will be old new to those of you on the mailing list, I wanted to let everyone know that I'll be on vacation the last two weeks in September. I'll try my best to get chapter 4 completed by then although I can't make any promises (I have yet to start on it). Thank you for understanding.
